For added flavor, I occasionally like to use the olive oil from the jar of sun-dried tomatoes.

It also works really well with fresh basil. It brings a lot of vibrancy to the sauce.
Add salt and black pepper to your tastewise
Rather than using pre-grated or powdered parmesan, get a wedge of parmesan cheese. The flavor difference is amazing.
Before draining, be sure to set aside at least 1 cup of pasta water.
For added taste and visual appeal, sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, grated parmesan, or chopped basil over top.
